A narrative is a story that is created in a constructive format (as a work of speech , literature , pictures , song , motion pictures , television , video games , theatre , musical theatre , or dance ) that describes a sequence of fictional or non-fictional events. The word derives from the Latin verb narrare, "to recount", and is related to the adjective gnarus, "knowing" or "skilled". Ultimately its origin is found in the Proto-Indo-European root gnō-, "to know". The word "story" may be used as a synonym of "narrative", but can also be used to refer to the sequence of events described in a narrative. A narrative can also be told by a character within a larger narrative. Definistion Recount Text Text Recount/Recount text is a text telling a case which terjadi/lampau has with aim to inform or amuses reader. Generic structure from text recount x'self is consisted of 3 part, that is : Orientation : that is information of introduction telling whosoever involving in text, what is going, where location event, and when march of events. Events : that is case sequence of story written chronologically. Reorientation : that is containing story cover conclusion end. Teks Recount/Recount text adalah sebuah teks yang menceritakan sebuah kejadian yang sudah terjadi/lampau yang bertujuan untuk menginformasikan atau menghibur pembaca. Susunan dari teks recount sendiri terdiri dari 3 bagian, yaitu : Orientation : yaitu informasi pembuka yang menceritakan siapa saja yang terlibat dalam teks, apa yang terjadi, dimana lokasi peristiwa, serta kapan terjadinya peristiwa. Events : yaitu urutan kejadian cerita yang ditulis secara kronologis.

Begitulah umumnya motivasi anak ketika sekolah dan menancap betul di dalam hati. Hal ini menjadi orientasi dan tujuan dalam perjalanan pendidikan pelajar sekarang. Padahal harus disadari jika nilai bukanlah segalanya. Ketika masuk SMA, pada umumnya yang tergambar dalam pikiran pelajar adalah bagaimana harus mendapat nilai bagus dengan grafik yang meningkat secara konsisten, bukannya menurun. Pelajar dituntut SEMANGAT Belajar, MENGAMALKAN dan MENYAMPAIKAN ILMU untuk belajar demi mendapat nilai yang baik, jika hasil tidak sesuai maka rasa menyesal bahkan putus asa menyelimuti.
